Yes this amp is very similar the Autotek mx 5000. Its a beef'd version of an Autotek mx3000

ok i got the power supply strait. now one channel has an issue. it had one shorted transistor on one channel i removed it but the bank of transistors and two per bank and they are still over heating. i didnt find any shorted drive transistors on the driver card.

If it has two identical driver boards, compare the readings from one to the other (with precisely the same probe placement).

On the tabs of the output transistors have a very bad distorted wave. While the good side has a clean square wave. I've traced it to the chip. The signal is good before it passes through a resistor. I will look further them I'm off work.
