İ put a piece of Mu metal over the small transformer only, first.
I had still some hum.
It was gone completely, when I shielded the transformer also, this contributed more to silence than the small shielding.
)Thank god there is no production planned!

My seller I ordered the steel material two years ago doesn't exist any more,
So I looked at eBay just again and forgot that aluminium is not possible really.

I take always this material (Inconel 718)
Inconel 718 High Temp Super Alloy Sheet Metal AMS 5596 10x6 1x 035 Plate | eBay
It´s a high nickel composition (mu metall has 70%-80% nickel as well) and works very fine.
Btw regular steel is better for shielding like for example 1.4301 .
