Lute and Mandolin - Let me laugh!
:note: When is Dis Reggae Music! :note:
Dig that Rockin' Bass til your feet starts a move.

Some PASS AMPLIFIER suited music:

Pass It On

So won't you judge your actions
To make sure the results are clean?

Be not selfish in your doings:
Pass it on. (Pass it on, children)

Live for yourself and you will live in vain;
Live for others, you will live again.

The new Halojoy

Halojoy,

My original mental impression of you was:
A ghostly white ag'ed Swede, eyes squinting as the Northern Lights shine through your window:D

Now it's:
A suntanned dreadlocked Swede, sitting by the pool, with a laptop, smoking something home grown:D

BTW, I've just put on some Hendrix:zombie:

Oh me good friend, oh my brother
Ur chanting rastafari
U say we're all living together
Under the protection of the most high
U say we should all live in harmony
But u can't even do it with ur own family
Hey man there is war war in ur kitchen
Ya'd better watch what watch what ur doing
War war in the kitchen
Now u should stop and think a little man!
:) :) :bawling:
Just you think about, how sad! :bawling:

 I also set the graphic Equalizer in my Winamp to "Ska-preset"
 To really get into the mood of it.

Halojoy,
BTW, I've just put on some Hendrix :zombie:
My favourites Hendrix:
2 national anthems:

He says to the english:
Stand up!
Stand Up for your Country.
pause
Or I fuuck You!
Then he starts playing
"God Save the Queen"
as only he knows how...

United States of America's nationalanthem:
"Starsprangled Banner"
in an interpretation that shows what
what that Union all to often stands for,
not only in Vietnam in the 60ies,
but still today .....
 the rest of the world can not help being a little puzzled
sweet talk but sour action ---
"by the fruit of a tree
you know the tree"

Playing Hendrix reminded me...

When I was 17, I bought the single "Purple Haze".
When I couldn't hear the bass line well, it spurred me to build a Woofer. Not having many resources, I cut a hole in the top of the wardrobe in my bedroom, and mounted a 15 inch guitar speaker in there. The clothes damped the enclosure well!

Not many people had sub-woofers in the 60's:angel:

Treasures Unfold

Diana Krall I do not know, like you and planet10
But jazz I like - I have Chet Baker, Billie Holiday
I want to get Chet Baker playing "Don't Explain"
A super version!
He sings as good as play trumpet.
They All Laughed, Forgetful, Embraceable You
and Trav'lin Light.
This is the type of Music you can have on
Repeated for Hours.

Also that kind of music is Rod McKuen
- Seasons In the Sun - Joanna - If You Go Away - I'll Catch The Sun
He is a great poet!

Love's Been good to Me

I have been a rover, I have walked alone,
Hiked a-hundred highways, never found a home.
Still in all I'm happy, the reason is, you see,
Once in a-while along the way, love's been good to me.

There was a girl, in denver, before the Summer storm.
Oh her eyes were tender, oh her arms were warm.
and she could smile away thunder, kiss away the rain,
and even though she's gone away, you won't hear me complain.

There was a girl, in Portland, before the Winter chill.
We used to go a-courting, along October hill,
and she could laugh away the dark clouds, cry away the snow,
it seems like only yesterday as down the road I go.

Yes,
I have been a rover, I have walked alone,
Hiked a-hundred highways, never found a home.
Still in all I'm happy, the reason is, you see,
Once in a-while along the way, love's been good to me.

:) Rod McKuen - welcome to a safe place to land :)
