Hi everyone,
I need to replace my front speakers of my surround sound system.
Currently have Celesetion C2s, they are great but I don't own them.
So instead of buying some speakers decided to make my own.
Budget around £200-£300, I like to listen to Rock and as loud as possible, so would like at least 2 drivers and 1 tweeter in each speaker. Also want Bi-wiring speakers.
So can you please point me in the right direction, as I don't really know where to start.
My amp is the Arcam AVR350.

hmm no I haven't, they look massive. Which I do like but I am struggling for space unfortunately.
Originally I planned to have dimension of about 22cmx30x150 (WxDxH|). But if width is a problem I can mount the speakers to the wall either side of my TV to get the width to 30cm.
This is what my current set up looks like.

I wonder if these drivers might be available to you and meet your budget:
The Uluwatus
They'll certainly rock your world.

Hi,
Building speakers is no way as easy as it might seem, especially
if you want them to look good. Tall, deep and skinny ? Rock out ?
IMO look for a used pair of Mission 753 Freedoms :
Not the last word in transparency, or bass, but they certainly boogie loud.
rgds, sreten.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
