Hi, i tried to PM you but since im new member, i couldn't and asked about it from a mod:I'm confused too... what do you mean? Could you eventually post a pic?
The suggested base cap is Clarity Cap CSA 1uF, the better option Clarity Cap CMR 1uF.
"It's temporary while you're a new poster. However all you need to do is alert someone like this @matsurus and ask them to PM you."
Can you PM me? I can also use your www.inserra.it email adress if you want...

Sorry Dario it’s not a Clarity, it is an Auricap xo 200 vdc, going to order one of the clarity but I thought you were going to say Audyn or murdorf. ThanksI'm confused too... what do you mean? Could you eventually post a pic?

While I consider the CSA slightly better than the XO (the CSA is less neutral while the XO is slightly dryier) it's not necessary to buy it since you have the XO, they're more or less at the same level.Sorry Dario it’s not a Clarity, it is an Auricap xo 200 vdc, going to order one of the clarity but I thought you were going to say Audyn or murdorf.
Proceed with the one you have, just in case you will feel that the amp sounds a bit dry you can upgrade later, perhaps directly to the CMR which is FANTASTIC with the FE.
Me too, I sent pm to you.Yes, please PM me.
I would invert transformers and PCBs so to avoid signal cables passing through transformers' magnetic field... see on the build guide (here you will also find order codes for HIFI2000 cases that will fit, including the dissipante variant).here is a picture of my setup to see if going to fit a disipante case (360x400)
Happy New Year to everyone participating in that group buy and also to Mr. ClaveFremen. I was able to finish the project just before the end of 2022. Here are some pictures. Hope you are also satisfied with the result. Here are some photos. Have a good and successful year.

Well, first of all, I made a mistake when I was posting a reply, I wanted to write that I hope you are also satisfied with your results as well. I have built My REF A and My REF C as well in the past. My REF A was the first serious amplifier I made, so maybe that was the reason I was always somehow attached to the Mauro Penasa topology. My REF C was my daily amplifier for the last 3-4 years. Probably it is too soon to speak about the sound of the Fremen edition. It has not been running for more than 20 hrs. But for now, I can tell that this one is more transparent, something like there is more air in it with also more detail. When I was listening to it yesterday, I was enjoying it a lot, I even did not want to go to bed To sum it up, it is good, it is very good
Hi Dario, after having read almost the entire forum My "audiophile" approach to the LM3886 and having greatly appreciated both Mauro Penasa's work and yours, I would like to tackle the construction of this amplifier, could you tell me what I need to do to purchase the PCBs and possibly the components?
I finally managed to complete the myref Fe, after a long wait the lm3886s arrived, what can I say fantastic sound, a nice leap forward compared to Mauro Penasa's myref, detail, depth of the sound stage, deep and articulated bass, congratulations to Dario for the work you did, thank you!!!
