But please no 3-pin XLRs for power. they should be reserved for audio. Rather use 4-pin XLR.

And if you want to add some extra caps in the external PSU the rectifier-bridges would have to be there anyway.
Yes,you're right didn't think about that.What's the minimum diameter that I could use for the power leads?
