I remember, during my first year, we had to write a small test on 'bench safety rules', where we had to list the, oh 10-15 major rules for good bench safety. No liquids, no hand tools over high voltage open equipment, left hand in pocket, etc.
On a lark, as the prof of that class had a sense of humor..I wrote my entire test around the idea of how to make absolutely sure you could continue to drink your beer (that was peremanently attached to your left hand) in absolute and utter safety. As he was a man who brewed his own beer...I recieved perfect marks.
