Separating caps
Another advantage of the "one tranformer->separate bridges and caps" scenario would be that the individual cap value is separated for every amp. Since some people claim that is best to have a certain cap value for each amp and not more ( gainclone's 1000 mf power supply), this could be the way to achieve it.
