Moode Audio Player for Raspberry Pi

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your job with MoOde Player! :)

Please - let me know the answer: how can I use own web radio streaming URL?

My URL don't work at all. Work with Volumio software - don't work with MoOde. Example:

PolskaStacja Smooth Jazz -http://www.polskastacja.pl/play/smoothjazz.pls
Polskie Radio Dwójka http://stream3.polskieradio.pl:8902/listen.pls

How can I solve this? Thanks.

Best regards,

Hi,

Moode requires the direct stream url. This is the url assigned to the File1= param inside the pls file.

Tim, Fair enough - I shall ask them. Out of interest, what's the impact of selecting different I2S devices? Presumably the raspberry PI I2S pins are always the same, so is this just a means of selecting different device capabilties such as hardware volume control?

Cheers,

Jon

Tim, it turns out the Buffalo expects 32 bit input on i2s. I've configured MPD to resample to 32 bit and it works. Do you know if I can also force airplay streams to resample?

Cheers, Jon

Hi Jon,

Airplay receiver outputs fixed 16/44.1 however in Moode 3.0, the Advanced Kernel supports simple-bclk-64fs setting for ES9018 and PCM1794 based DAC's so in theory Airplay output should work.

Send me email and i can get you a Moode 3.0 test image to try out :)

Hi guys,

sorry to ask here as very of topic ! May someone tell me, please, if the Pi 3 layout is supporting 24/192 hi res reccording both via I2S and usb outputs ??? (I2S has the uf-l plugs hat by IanCanada) ?

The signal is reclocked by Clock 2 from Ian with 45/49 K Hz crystals.

Any limitation on the Moode or Pi layaout ?
thanks in advance

Hi guys,

I am thrilled with the Moode :) it's such a nice system and it is quite comfortable; I have just a bit annoyed from a little thing :

I have my the V2.7 in my Raspberry Pi+, which is connected by WIFI to my NAS, so my music is shared by SAMBA from my NAS; but somehow every second day somehow the SAMBA connection is lost, even if I restart both NAS and Rpi... So the samba will be mounted just if somehow I change for example the IP of my nas in the MOODE configuration, but when doing so I have to re-synchronize my whole library which is taking long, but in reality no directory nor path changed from the NAS...

If there a way to force not to resync the library again?

The only thing I can see in the logs related to this is the following:

636.565084] Status code returned 0xc0000001 NT_STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL
[ 636.565166] CIFS VFS: Send error in SessSetup = -5
[ 636.567461] CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -5
[ 656.434460] CIFS VFS: Error connecting to socket. Aborting operation.
[ 656.434983] CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -111

does anybody has any idea??? Thanks very much for your time :)

Hi I'm using moode in one main room and really like it. Its on a RPi3 with IQaudio dac+ together with an Arcam amp and speakers.

I want to start using it in other rooms like the kitchen and bedroom
So I'll buy another Pi3 with Pi-DigiAMP+ and a pair of speakers per room.

I used the moode image on the iQaudio site and have zero Linux knowledge!
My question is how does it work for multi room?
I cant see any info on this.
can you have it running in two or more rooms at the same time?
can you listen to different things in different rooms?

how does this work with the login interface?

Hi,

Moode image on IQaudIO site?

Start with latest moode image from moodeaudio.org. This is a great opportunity to learn a little Linux :)
