Moode Audio Player for Raspberry Pi

rip 3 and hifiberry+ pro

According to Hifiberry's home page a fix to make the + pro work at RPI 3 is to close down bluetooth since it apparently uses the same channels

https://support.hifiberry.com/hc/en...895-Fix-for-DAC-Pro-on-RPi3-disable-bluetooth

The solution should be to add a line in the config.txt disabling bluetooth.
dtoverlay=pi3-disable-bt

I can say that I have now tried that - no difference however, the dac+ pro still are not working on the RPI 3 :(

It might be worth reading this thread: https://support.hifiberry.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/206510369-DAC-and-the-Raspberry-3

Which has a link to the overlay and points out that the Bluetooth disabling has to happen before the hifiberry overlay is loaded

Digi+

It works with my rpi3 and sub dac. But my hifiberry digi+ Is unstable ?! - the sound is great when it works, but when I change song, then it sometimes generate a lot of noise, or is low. If I pause/play 2-3 times then it play again.
I have edited hifiberry's solution in the configure.txt - anyone who know what it could be?

This is exactly the same I experience with the Hifiberry dac+ pro

Maybe i have found a solution, it seems to work at mine rpi3 and digi+.
I downloaded this one https://raw.githubusercontent.com/r...-o /flash/overlays/pi3-disable-bt-overlay.dtb
and simple replaced it with the "old" one.

I found it here but I couldn't make it work as he desribes it. OpenELEC Mediacenter - OpenELEC Forum - Wolfson Audio Card Support (20/20)

Did you find a solution that works? It is not clear to me what you did. Pressing the url downloads a 9 byte file? Can you explain?

Hi all
here is a link to an image of my RPI 3 card. The card was 8 GB so I am not sure whether the image will work with a smaller card. I have not removed my network setting so pls. reset this.

Please give me a hint is it is not working.

Thanks for this, Henry. It works fine over USB but with I2S/Hifiberry Digi+ I get the noise that others have mentioned. I don't really understand Aboe's instructions here. When I click on your Github link, Aboe, I get "Not found".

Hi Tim, someone else may have pointed this out, but I upgraded from 2.5 TR3 to 2.5 stable and now shairport is almost unusable. Music cuts in and out repeatedly. Any suggestions for how to fix? Is there a way to update shairport without waiting for the next Moode release?

Hi,

Very odd. Should be just the opposite where TR3 shairport-sync not so stable.

In any case, email me and I'll send you shairport-sync 2.8.1 binary which is MikeB's stable release and the one to be included with Moode 2.6.

Copy it to /usr/local/bin overwriting existing shairport-sync file and u should be good to go. Verify version by shairport-sync -V

2.8.1-openssl-Avahi-ALSA-stdout-soxr-metadata
