Mingda MC34B tweaks

Hi all,

This is my first post here.

I have a secondhand Mingda MC34 b19 that I use in a second system. It had its factory supplied 6P3's and other valves replaced with JJ 6L6GT power valves from Watford valves and also JJ 6n1 and 6n2 also from Watford valves. It sounds nice and drives a pair of Q Acoustics 3010i Compact Bookshelf Speakers with ease in a fairly large space. I'm also looking to gain some precision. I have spoken with Mark at Malvern audio he is the UK dealer for Mingda and he suggest the factory caps be swapped for Audyn Reference caps.
Is it worth asking him to rewire the input bases to 12 v so I can try some of the 12AX7 types?

Thanks in advance of your replies all 🙂👍
