Wow, where have I been? I just started looking for a tube mic preamp project to build, and I see the name D.W.Fearn! I met Doug around 1976 and he gave me a tour of his recording studio...several points of wisdom and imagery remain with me to this day. I occasionally wonder what he was up to years later. Looks like a success story. Glad to be reminded of him...
