Hi
I purchased and downloaded an album consisting of 8 FLAC files (tracks).
6 of the files seem to conform to the FLAC specifications but 2 of the files are "compressed" by 90-94% according to Properties when I right click on them (Win7).
These files play sound for the first 10 seconds in foobar2000, then there is no sound but the cursor continues and the status bar shows that the playback continues until the end of the expected duration according to Properties.

I believe that a compression ratio of 90-94% is far outside the FLAC specifications??
I need some factual arguments against the provider of the audio files.

Hello sreten

The album art pdf file reads this on the last page:
(Copy-pasted to avoid the need for providing image)

Symfonie nr. 4 in E minor, opus 98 (1886)
1 Allegro non troppo 13.07
2 Andante moderato 11.08
3 Allegretto giocoso 6.24
4 Allegro energico e passionato 10.29
5 Hungarian dances: no. 11 in D minor 4.00
6 Instrumental folk music from the region of Sic. 1.22
(original melody used by Brahms in his 3rd Hungarian Dance)
István Kádár violin, András Szabó viola, Attila Martos bass
(members of the Budapest Festival Orchestra)
7 Hungarian dances: no. 3 in F minor 2.21
8 Hungarian dances: no. 7 in A minor 1.55

As far as I can see there are certainly 8 tracks, try to look for this on Amazon:
Brahms: Symphony no. 4 Hybrid SACD,
Budapest Festival Orchestra (Artist), Brahms (Composer), Iván Fischer (Conductor)

You get 8 tracks as above
