hi, i've got a marantz pm94 with a burnt resistor which does not appear on the schematic, i'm guessing that its used to drop current/voltage to the led board as it connects to this, there is also a capacitor which connects from the original supply line (24vdc), so pre the burnt resistor, the capacitor also dosent appear on the schematic.
has anyone any idea's on a starting point for a replacement resistor, or if its not on the schematic can i just omit it?
thanks
chris

A couple of points. The resistor probably is on the schematic, it may be associated with a different functional block, but these days schematics drive parts lists.
Second is that you need to find out why the resistor burned out before you replace it.
Is everything else working OK? Just the display is out?
