It will, your grin will be enormous. Have you fed the servo IC with two regulators yet? Normal 7805s are used in mine and that improved the quiet parts and fine details as the new clock feed does.
In the CD67 the servo gets reclocked when you do the DAC. The CD63 fully modded will be even better though we think.

I'm not too sure about that...
Pretty bold statement.

LOL
I'm basing it on assuming both the output and dac areas will be modded the same. Then with the servo section being more discrete more can be done to it. Its all a close thing anyway.
For most people who would do the normal mods will find the 67 a better unit for their given gains.
Maybe a 67 in a 63KI chassis with KI tx would make a very good starting block

Great stuff Brent. I see you can now fit at least three more tx's in there!

Right-click on a pic, copy image url, paste url into a new window and let IE6/7 or FF resize it for you. Then you can see it all at once.

Looking good though.
Yes more room for future TX upgrades

Oops!

No, i haven't changed that cap yet, I will try and do it later today though, thanks for the info.
Lee.
Sorry about that link.
My mods list
It's not an absolute list, but it's more or less all there.
Thanks,
Lee.

Having a quick look at your list I have a few questions/comments to try to help.
I do find the 220 - 470uF BG to be better around the opamps.
CD04 CD07 it says you have removed them. I would use a 220uF BG there.
Also I would use the Invisus on the DAC ana. They are good regs and would benefit more there IMHO.
Rest seems ok.
Try it and see how it sounds

Hi, thanks for the suggestions.
CD04 & CD07 were moved to CD05 & CD06, closer to the dac pins so I think they're ok.
You recommend using the invisus on the dac, do you mean just the dac and nothing else? At the moment it supplies dac & decoder & servo analogue.
Lee
ps I would have used 470uF 16v on the opamps but I seem to have run out!

Also, does anyone know where to get an 8.467 xtal from? I can't seem to find one anywhere.

If you're putting it on an Audiocom clock then contact them directly.
