Hello all.

This wiki grew out of the Things you should know about LTSpice thread started by keantoken, as a place for new users to LTSpice to refer to in order to get "up to speed" quickly without too many hangups while they are acclimating to the program.

The intent is to provide a quick reference where a person can learn the nuances of using LTSpice effectively and avoid any inherent pitfalls. Thus, if you need help for a specific problem,

1) Read the LTspice Help file. You'll probably find the answer to those "how do I..." questions faster, and avoid asking embarassing noob questions on the forum.

2) Read Common Issues Encountered By New Users below.

3) Look at the LTspice examples: C:\Program Files\LTC\LTspiceIV\examples\Educational

4) Visit the Yahoo LTspice group, where if you can think of it, somebody has probably already done it and posted it there.

5) If all that fails, then ask on the forum.
