Dave (Planet 10) (loudspeaker moderator) has some push/push (bipole) speaker designs on his website.

One woofer faces forward , one back, on each speaker. They both are wired so they move outward at the same time. This compensates for baffle step problems and cancels out most of the vibrations transmitted to the cabinet among other cool stuff.
