Are you thinking of using a plate amp or simply adding it to the mix? I think a small plate amp might be in order.
Also, there is quite a difference between an 8" and a 10" so you might wish to decide first before we make suggestions. The 8" will allow for a smaller box (on average) while the 10 will give you more umph!
EDIT: If it's for a small room, the 8" ought to be enough. Have you looked at anything so far?
This TB unit is nice and on sale. I have a pair. I like.

Or the Apex Jr. unit part way down the page is good also for the price.

Well the thing is I am running the fostexs off a Teac AL700P three channel amp. I am not looking for huge slam just some bass augmentation. The room is very small and I sit about 4ft from the speakers. Very nearfield. I would like to run it off the tird channel of the amp if possible. I was looking at a dayton 8" in a sealed box.
