Does anyone know of a N. American company that would take my working transformer from a dead circuit and duplicate the transformer for me? The transformer is an integral part of a home brew photo strobe circuit that has long past, we are trying to duplicate the circuit with modern techniques and components but the transformer is a stumbling block.
I don't have the time or inclination to do the work to specify a custom transformer, this is why I am looking for someone else to do the testing a fabrication of new transformers for us.
Thanks
Don
Incidentially I contacted Plitron on a number of occassions and to date have not had any reply.

Hi,
What are their prices like?
@ Frazzled - what spec's do you need? I might know someone who can do it for you least expensive

you ask for a custom winding house that can offer a reverse engineering service.
And then ask about the price.
My question had nothing to do with reverse engineering. I'm quite capable of doing that
Just if anyone has dealt with them, how are they compared to say... Hammond.
