LM4780TA

I just came across a bunch of this chips from old stash.

Worth building these? It would be labor of love as it would need point to point wiring as I have no PCBs.

I am just getting started into building things after a long time and want to choose my projects carefully.

I wouldn't go point-to-point on the LM4780. Its pins are pretty thin.

Why not take this as an opportunity to learn KiCAD and PCB layout?

If you have many of these, I'd consider putting the two halves in parallel for a 125 W (4 Ω) amp. Search for PA100 and BPA200. There's a TI app note on the topic.

I will wait on doing anything with the LM4780. I have a decent quantity and will use them in the parallel and/or bridged configurations at some time in the future. First I will try see if I can some success with the LM3886 and LM3875 boards and chips that i have.
