LM3875/LM3886 vs. TDA7293 (TDA7293V) or TDA7294 (BjT vs NMOS output)
Who can tell me details between the audible differences in sound character?
actually the main sound differences arises through the different kind of the output power devices and their topology. Both designs are not so called "true complementary" design. The LM uses a quasi complementary design (Super ß like Quad 303) with BjT's and the TDA 7293/7294 a totem pole topology wich only N-Channel MOSFETs similar to the discrete topology from the developement of diyaudio member "X-PRO" - go to
