Your example circuit for re-referencing the input to the -ve rail a few months back inspired me to take PSRR for chip amps a lot more seriously :)I did make a quick measurement for the -ve PSRR on the TDA and found it roughly as bad as the LM. I agree that the extra pins for the TDAs are worth having, provided the signal -ve is kept at or lower than the power -ve.

I also had an idea for the TDA7293 that perhaps some improvement might be gained by splitting the packages up so the buffer and input/VAS stage aren't active in the same package. That's to say: building a paralleled '93 using 3 packages rather than two to alleviate thermal cross-talk. Haven't tried that yet though.
