Righty living in the uk i dont have the joy of $0.69 speakers to buy ! they are all pretty expensive and hard to come buy
one of the cheepest places i have found is these people..

just wondering if you'd agree that these speakers would be well suited to a line array...

i have to audax 6 1/2 inch drivers for my bass, which are goning to be xo'ed at about 80-100 hz

so for mids...these in 4 1/2 ?? http://custom1.farnell.com/cpc/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CPC+Catalogue&category%5Fname=Audio+Video+%2D+Loudspeakers+and+Sounders+%2D+Loudspeakers&product%5Fid=260392

and these for tweeters...

im only looking to make a small array, a woofer each side and say 5 mids and 3 tweeters each side.... what kind of impedances do i need for the drivers?
my amp is 4-16 ohm stable.
what kind of wiring configuration do i need too ???
any help would be much appreciated :D

Call the local electronics supply stores and visit those which have replacement speakers for TV's, etc. Even here in Costa Rica they carry a variety of very cheap $1-$2 wide range drivers and some sound suprisingly good. Go in person and give them a listen and buy the best sounding cheapest drivers.

Well even if you bought like 24 $0.69 drivers from parts express and 24 $0.69 tweeters...it wold be about $35 for drivers. So even if they charged $60-$80 for shipping you would be at ~$100 total. And you would know what to expect.

If you buy the ones you listed, that would only allow you to buy like 8 or so drivers. So although the shipping wold be bad, it would still come out good. Send PartsExpress an email asking them for estimate on shipping costs, and different methods of shipping, like using our government operated parcel service (USPS) or a privatly operated service like FedEx or UPS.

Also 1 euro gets about 1.20 in dollars...so you get some help there.
