The display is driven by a microcontroller which I programmed in mikroC compiler for Microchip PIC microcontrollers. The demo version of the compiler comes with a free example program for driving the graphic LCD .
The attenuator (preamplifier as it is called often) is now a commercial product. I founded a firm and started to make living out of producing these devices. This is not the right place for advertising so I will not discuss the commercial aspect further.
