It's non switching.. at least in my simulations...which keeps the current just a little above 10 mA.. even when driven hard....and into clipping

To the first question, it was for me. To the second question, the Krill is gone. It was made obvious to me by some (many of whom are no longer here) that I had nothing to contribute here. So I no longer do.

I wish you well. You did help me with the Krill that I build 50W and 100W but I did not able to put them in a decent case yet but still they are still working and making music.

Hi! I see that this thread is probably dead now, but here is my question anyway:
Has anyone tried the Krill output stage together with a high voltage preamp like the A30 (AliExpress, Taobao) or Jensen JE-990?
I am contemplating the idea of making one to see if it is possible.
Here is my attempt:
Any suggestions are welcome!
