Im building a box for a friend of mine For 2 of theese.
Kicker Comp 12" single 4 ohm coil..
I didnt check the website so i called kicker on theese subs.
They told me to build the box 2.1 cubic ft per sub.
They also told me to use a 30 square inch port 20 1/2" long..
Well the website says 3 cubic ft per sub ported but i already cut the wood and started putting a 4.2 cubic ft box together (2.1 per sub)
A 30" square port 20 1/2" long per woofer seems like to big of a port in my eyes maybe im wrong..
Wondering if anyone knows a good size port to use for theese subs??
I plan on making slot ports but wondering if the size they gave me is good to use or anyone have a better size port to use?
Any help would greatly be appericated

You should have asked kicker if the 2.1ft^3 was including or excluding the volume of the port. From some rough calculations, it looks like it's going to be tuned to about 44Hz which is a bit high for a daily driver. This is subtracting the 0.356ft^3 of the port from the 2.1ft^3 but it disregards the wall thickness of the port.
