Has anyone considered ,or tried the Hawthorne Augie 15''?, and/or compared it o the Alpha? Dave

Reston Community Center has a woodshop although they will be closing for renovations in a week or two.

Springfield Woodcraft store has a woodworkers club associated with them. Not sure exactly how that works, try giving them a call.

Thanks a lot Bluegti. I did not know about either places. I think I weill try and visit the Spring Field Woodcraft tomorrow sometime and maybe the Reston community center over the weekend.

I am interested in hearing a comparison too.
I have seen a few raving reports of the Auggies, but do not think I have come across much data like their FR, CSD curves except for a few T-S parameters. The absence of data is puzzling.

I was in Springfield Woodcraft today. They have a really nice well equipped shop and some nice deals. $150 for 10 hrs of usage.
