Well, all quiet on the Western Front. Can we go back to talking about audio design now? '-) Yes, it is still happening out there in the real world.
A real surprise is the new book put out by TAS: 'Illustrated History of High End Audio' that is surprisingly detailed with the history and practice of audio electronics design. It even shows schematics, not necessarily with the detail that an amateur could copy directly, but good enough to show the progress that we audio designers have made over the decades. Of course Nelson Pass and I are in there, but there are many others as well. It is expensive, but a fun read.
Thanks Nelson et al for sending me a copy.

Thanks again, Wayne, Nelson, and Jam. I don't know if I would have ever gotten a copy on my own.
A pretty sad statement, why weren't you asked to contribute?
expensive
$108 for part 2 at this end, well worth it, Mr Curl.
(ordering it straight from TAS instead would have cost me close to $260, including shipping and taxes)

A pretty sad comment .
Have a nice day.
My God even a book about the high end has a high end price point.
Audio porn. Watching others doing it.

There is a signing in April TAS Legends of High-End Audio Panel, Book Signing at AXPONA | The Absolute Sound
Other than Dan D not a great 'legend' collection. Of course IMO.
