While there is no doubt that old Tango transformers were of very high quality I have not found much information about ISO products. Has anyone had experience with them or does somebody know if the new transformers are made to the standards of old Tangos (materials and winding)?

I am particularly interested in the FC-20S. Although it is a "universal" OPT with prim. imp. of 5, 3.5 and 2.5 k I've heard good comments about it (Thomas Meyer describes the original Tango as his favorite OPT for the 45).

The FC-20S can be bought in Europe for 289 Eur (including VAT), or 232 EUR excl. VAT shipped to the US directly from Japan.
