It's a LM12.
Don't see why not. Hell, it looks like my amp! Well, without the chassis.
I have a Mustek camera and the minimum focus distance is 60cm...
I don't even have that. I have to settle for line drawings.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
Mine is the same basic configuration done on a similar heatsink, with a wood chassis around it, a wooden back and a trim strip between the fins down the middle.

There it is. The datasheet directily from National website. Also this App Note . The price is $16.90 USD for 1000+.
I've buyed some about 4 years ago and some supplyers still have some here in Portugal.
I think you must go into LM3886 or some like that. Maybe OPA's.
Regards
ADDED:
Check this. It says Full production - NEW LM12CLK
You can buy here

cheers bud!
yes its not quite as good as the other chips with 80watts, but if you only need 80watts its good. plus look at the package it comes in, To3, with only 4 pins, that eases up a lot on pcb design and space, plus it will mount in the heat sinks i reclaimed from a load of mosfet amps, i got 8 large (150watt dispersion) sinks that it'll fit stait into. once again, cheers bud. steve.. ..
