It can, it must, and it should work well everywhere
That is good news
So, you recommend an 100nF snubber ?
Newbie question
Did you tried with two? (one 100nF and other 50nF)
DID any one saw my PSU schematic ?
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=533439&stamp=1103071280
Where should I place the snubber ? (can any one redesign the Schematic)
I don't know if this could help, but I'm using an RBV-402 bridge ( 200V / 4 A)

You are on your own.
Try what I recommended and don't play that way.

Is that original of that amp?
What kind of thing is that?
Are you sure that this amp deserves that you spend some cents in parts?

The picture is not original from the amp!
The original is one Bando transformer and 2 ELNA caps of 3300nF.
I want to change it for a toroidal 160VA transformer and 2 caps of 10000nF from FTcap .
The amplifier uses one STK4152 II chip, made by Sanyo. ( 2x30W 8 oms)
The amp is old and have a non HIFI sound but I think this will be a good way to learn something about amps
And the new parts can allways be used in the future
Later, I would like to build a good Kit! Something that could drive my speakers in perfection.
The PSU schematic that I uploaded is the Specified Transformer Power Supply that Sanyo "recommends".
I have the chip pdf with all the specs, and i saw that in there
IF you want the PDF, I can upload!
Thanks.
Regards,
NG.
Edit:
I don't know how hard is to build a Kit based in the LM3886 or other.....
Maybe I'll start a kit But first I need to learn a bit more
