Am building Brian GT lm3875 rev 3 in a small wood enclosure. 330 VA Avel toroid, and a substancial, shared, finned heat sink 7" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/8".
I'm not planning on any sort of venting (it is unsightly in a cherry enclosure) but could put holes in bottom, sight unseen.
Anyone have experience with this chipamp - will it generate too much heat that needs to be dissipated with ventilation? From reading the postings, my selected heat sink ought to do a fine job given a reasonable ambient temperature, but... the issue is where does the heat in the enclosure go?
