I ask because I blew one up a few years ago. I was clumsy with my DMM probes and ( I think) shorted v- and 0v.
I recently re-built both mono amps as I wanted to increase the heat sink size and make them look pretty
I again (yea, ok) bridged the v- and 0v on one = chip dead.
The datasheet says "output protection from a short to ground or to the supplies via internal current limiting circuitry"
Should it blow up so easily?
