Isn't the corner itself going to really determine the shape of the conical horn? I'm assuming the compression driver firing from the apex already created by the wall? Isn't any other shape from that position going to cause issues?

A corner clearly has a fixed (wide) conical expansion rate,
and I would assume that a tractix or exponential horn
terminating at that flare rate is far more practical
than any attempt to use a very short conical flare.

Hi sreten. I was actually thinking of a using a *very* large pyramid horn and gimbal mounting it the plan now it to slice my tetra shaped speaker in two two sections. I am trying to determine what the mouth dimension would be for around 600 hz. I am assuming we simply determine square inches of throat contained with the triangle? I am guessing it will be around 20" per side????? I am sorry to say I don't quite understand how to determine this in hornresp.
