and what about under max load? coz this thing only gets bigger

It does get a little bigger.
With the original power inductor I was getting 35 volts over shoot.
With the t106-2 inductor I get about 8 volts.

More components means more cost and larger pcb.
I want to keep it as small and as cheap as possible.

I did try RC on the mosfets but it made little difference.

The oscillation is at the resonant frequency of the inductor so is at a high impedance and so shouldnt affect anything.
