I am designing a small amp/speaker unit for me to use with my ipod. I was planning to use an LM4766 with a LM1036 for the input. What I am trying to find is what the line out voltage and impedance is on the ipods. Does anyone know this? I am wondering if I should be placing a line driver in the design?
Has anyone used the LM1036 before? Any comments or suggestions? Even any other tone/volume control chip suggestions.
Should I just up the LM4766 gain and scratch a line driver?
