Hi,
Go for the smaller driver with that midrange
volume. 2.7L actually matches it quite well.
rgds, sreten.
Why does it match it quite well?
The small one has a Qtc of .55
and the large one a Qtc of .596
in 2.6 liters
I decided to go with the TW30 and WF152.
I also decided to mount it untop of the tweeter.
It got me 8 mm closer than flush mounting them and butting them together.
But if I used the WF120 the acoutic centers could have been another 9 mm closer together

You know what?
You're one of the people on here that I never seen be wrong about anything, as far as I can tell and recall
I don't know how you knew it, but . . .
The more I think about it, the more I think I'd prefer the sound of the smaller midrange, once in the speaker.
When I have any doubt I usually go with the bigger woofer, that's not made of paper.
I don't know if the one octave lower cross-over will make any difference in my brain.
That smaller mid was also good for low level listening (which I do 99.9% of the time) and it seemed to be the same efficiency as the bigger mid.
