how to get a mirror shine?

I assume that you have speaker enclosures in mind. Although, it doesn't really matter, since the techniques for obtaining a high gloss finish are the same regardless of what color is used or what base material such as wood, metal, or fiberglass, etc. are being "finished".

What ever you do make sure they put enough coats on to allow wet sanding and buffing.
Treat the edges with respect when sanding as you can rub thru here
You would use 1000 or 2000 ultra fine depending on the orange peal effect.
You would want to use a thick rubber block type sanding pad for flatness.
You sand in one direction only and buff against this grain to finish out. Don,t do circles when sanding. All of this with plenty of water.

These are basic directions only as the type of paint and how long it has dried etc.
