Positive feedback, which in the financial world is rather like a Ponzi scheme. Or you can just explain that the problem is not due to you having insufficient income, but it is their fault for sending such large bills. You can prove that this is correct by showing that if they reduced their bills you would be able to pay them in full. QED!

I suspect that marketing blurb for some amplifiers are written by the same people who write blurb for financial products. In some cases the product designers show similar skills! It looks very shiny and reliable, but after a while it doesn't perform as well as you expected.

Numbers, numbers...

Hi Miles,
in the post of calculating grid current requirement, I noticed some funny numbers. The result of 2pixF (fo F=30,000Hz) gives me:
188495,55921538759430775860299677
yours is:
Bc= 4.68E-6 (Set f= 30KHz)
Also, if
Ci= 10 + 2.8 + 12= 24.8pF
then why :
I= (4.68E-6)(22.5)= 0.11mA
is 24.8pF became 22.5?
Thank for your time.
Jean "Bob" Gregoire
