I already have an 845SE tube amp. I built it about 10 years ago and don't use it because it pumps about 400 watts of heat into the room for 40 WPC of sound. Being class A it also puts 400 watts into the room at idle. It might be OK up north, but it hasn't seen power in several years here.

My next project will burn about 100 watts at idle and about 160 watts at full crank (125 WPC).
