I need some help with a speaker design. Basically I want to build a pair of 2-ways using the Eminence Alpha 6 as a midwoofer. I am interested in high sensitivity and decent fidelity. The problem is I can't find a tweeter to match the Eminence's high sensitivity, which is around 100db/watt. The closest I have found are horn tweeters and some domes with around 95db's efficiency. I need some guidance, here are some spec sheets i have found:

First one I came across :

109 to 110 dB @ 1W :
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
Thanks for the replies.
I am looking at building a high efficiency small monitor type 2 way speaker. The problem is that I would prefer to use a regular tweeter, not a horn. I need help with the cabinet dimensions and crossover design. I know this is very complicated and few people have the time/knowledge to come up with a good design. I am a computer engineer and have taken some electric circuit theory. Where are some good tutorials and software to get started??

Have you considered the Fostex FT17H or maybe one of it's bigger (and more expensive) brothers (like the FT96H horn supertweeter @ 100dB/W)? These are horn-loaded, but I do think that they will suit your purpose. The Alpha 6 goes quite high so these should be very compatible. Madisound carries a good range of these.
Deon
PS. Are these going to be part of a set of three-way speakers, or are you going to use them with a sub? The Alpha 6 has a very high Fs of 118Hz, so using them alone you won't have much bass.
