as far as i can see it from the pics the SMPS looks pretty much similar to the VIII Zeus (ok, the Zeus had more transistors 
) . There, the gate resistors were also 220 Ohms, and it is a regulated supply.
Maybe there is somethign wrong in the feedback curcuit.
As far as I remember each output voltage is send back via 5.6k and 68k resistors and some Z-diodes.

Perry, i lowered the voltage all the way down to 10 volts and the idle current was the same as if it was set at 13.8 volts so i assume that the 220 ohm resistors are fine i have tested it with my bench supply and all seems well i will install it in a friends car to really put it to the test, once again is i have any problems with the amp i will post here. Thanks for all your help Perry, and everyone else
