are all of the parts listed there made by Mundorf? I know the caps are but what about the resistors and the coils?

Yes, if you're aware, he designed those in 2006, currently troels are using jantzen exclusively. Wether it's business or performance wise, not sure. But I think it's both. Jantzen also tony gee's fave.
The white Mundorf is the entry level cap which prob have similar performance with the list above but with more $$$ :d

He's based in Europe, hence the parts are from Europe

The inductors are Intertechnik Germany, resistor not sure.

I think for minimum cost with good performance can use jantzen air coils, crosscap or z-standard.

I have not used them yet, but from what I see from others experiencing, jantzen have good performance valu ratio.

U can get them at parts express

I actually tried parts express and they said they no longer carry those parts. (only a few jenzen products) I see madisound carrys clarity caps and Mundorf

I think each component will have its own character, but to determine which one is best need to try them.

I'm not experience enough to give u any recommendation. I think whatever suits your budget, as long as same spec as troels recommend u will be find.

Paying 3 times as much for c/o components as you are for the very expensive
drivers for a 3-way is basically madness and very poor design. I don't like the
design at all, its been designed as a cost no object technical exercise in high
order c/o's, and other things TG's interested in, its outstandingly poor value,
why you would choose to build 9 of them is beyond my comprehension.

I cannot see it, at all, any of it, they are not design decisions, more like
justifications for sticking with something just to see where it will go.

First home project, I had no idea that the xover's would be so much. Even active crossover (in car audio) are NO WHERE near the price of home audio. I am really amazed at the price of 'audio grade' caps.

I'm going to order various caps, coils and resistors and find out if there really is a difference in all of this.

You could go with a low level passive crossover and go active using LM3886 chip amps. I haven't done the calculations but you may find it more than price competitive.

Do you have the facilities and know how to measure the performance of the drive units and design an active crossover?
Can you afford multiple amp channels per speaker?

Just out of curiosity, what are some good software packages in order to do something like that?

Two concerns I have are

1. Finding a quality crossover.
2. Obtaining software that can analyze the sound output along with the room acoustics
