Yes, if you're aware, he designed those in 2006, currently troels are using jantzen exclusively. Wether it's business or performance wise, not sure. But I think it's both. Jantzen also tony gee's fave.
The white Mundorf is the entry level cap which prob have similar performance with the list above but with more $$$ :d

Cheers
Henry

He's based in Europe, hence the parts are from Europe

The inductors are Intertechnik Germany, resistor not sure.

I think for minimum cost with good performance can use jantzen air coils, crosscap or z-standard.

I have not used them yet, but from what I see from others experiencing, jantzen have good performance valu ratio.

U can get them at parts express

Cheers
Henry

Hmmm......

Paying 3 times as much for c/o components as you are for the very expensive
drivers for a 3-way is basically madness and very poor design. I don't like the
design at all, its been designed as a cost no object technical exercise in high
order c/o's, and other things TG's interested in, its outstandingly poor value,
why you would choose to build 9 of them is beyond my comprehension.

I cannot see it, at all, any of it, they are not design decisions, more like
justifications for sticking with something just to see where it will go.

rgds, sreten.

I know, Im looking at $3266.50 USD for INDUCTORS ONLY!!! Thats why I see pro gear as more flexible and probably cheaper.
Another option ive been looking into is using the carver 660A which is a 6 channel (80x6) which would run a pair of these in a tri-amped configuration.

Two concerns I have are

1. Finding a quality crossover.
2. Obtaining software that can analyze the sound output along with the room acoustics

$6533?
Have you missed out a decimal point, after the five?
If not that is insanely, offensively, laughably, and insultingly expensive. You could buy a very respectable Car for that money.

The way you have bought the drivers without working out the costs involved is bonkers. $6.5k for inductors?
I would want to buy all the stock and the production facility for that.

Yeah the actual cost is half of that. But still, $3266.50 USD for inductors only is outrageous. The below prices are for a single box

Goertz CF.1 (16 AWG) Copper Foil Inductor
$12.40 x 1 Delete Item
Goertz CF.15 (16 AWG) Copper Foil Inductor
$12.95 x 1 Delete Item
Goertz CF.33 (16 AWG) Copper Foil Inductor
$15.40 x 1 Delete Item
Goertz CF.47 (16 AWG) Copper Foil Inductor
$17.25 x 2 Delete Item
Goertz CF.68 (16 AWG) Copper Foil Inductor
$20.80 x 1 Delete Item
Goertz CF1.8 (12 AWG) Copper Foil Inductor
$64.45 x 1 Delete Item
Goertz CF2.2 (14 AWG) Copper Foil Inductor
$45.65 x 1 Delete Item
Goertz CF4.7 (12 AWG) Copper Foil Inductor
$120.50 x 1 Delete Item

Im reading about the difference between jenzen air coils vs Goertz copper foils.
