Help needed lowering B+ for DIY amp

You could also use a SECOND rectifier tube to get an additional 30 - 50V drop if you really want to tackle the problem this way. Do you have enough filament current supply to drive a second filament?

I'd just adjust the circuit for a higher B+. You'd put slightly larger plate resistors on the 12AX7s. You could use KT66s instead of 6L6.
