Hi everyone,
I just bought my first fullrange drivers.1958 Wharfedale Super 12/FS/AL with no surrounds.I ask myself, why do I always buy basket case electronics.I guess I like to see if I can get them working again.
I have never repalced surrounds before. Are there any kits just for this driver out there?Or maybe a universal kit?I can't wait to hear them.I imagine a nice warm tone coming from them.
Any guidance would be awsome to this new lost guy.
Thanks,Doug

hope this helps the pain.
foam surround kits
don't know anything about doing it, nor this vendor, just a quick ebay search.
I am sure Madisound , etc, would sell something similar.

I used surrounds from this guy: Woofer repair and it worked great. They even come with an instruction video, that explains very well how to do. ( it was my first time). Took me about 2 hours to refoam two 8" speakers.
Happy refoaming.

In that case, i'm confident that you will find it quite easy to refoam, as you're not afraid of sticking your fingers in unknown territory
Best regards
