This is a great sounding amp, but I could use help identifying what tube needs to go in the missing spot.

You are not missing any tubes. The W2 uses 2 6SN7 and 2 5881, and you have all 4 tubes .
Back in the old days octal sockets were often used as connectors for power supplies etc.
I believe that is the case for this amp, although I have never owned one and I dont have a picture of one connected correctly for a W2. But the Heath W3 dual chassis amp does use the octal socket in that location as the power supply connection.

It appears from your pictures that this amp has been modded and the power supply is hard wired into the amp. Maybe a previous owner did not like the octal connector.
