People hoping to sell many thousands of their product around the world can't afford to take too many shortcuts with component quality. They use mainly high quality but lowish cost normal commercial components. Of course, there may occasionally be penny-pinching when the production engineer gets his hands on the design (especially if, as is often the case these days, he is Chinese). Audio is a relatively undemanding application of electronics so there is little need for special components, unlike medical or aerospace systems - even there they use engineering, not brand names, to choose items.
