For $200 it looks like a bargain.
Ok, since I know the host of the site so probably I can relay you guys request to him?
Anyway, I'd say it's a fairly matured product as of now. It can handle APE, Flac, 24bit/192KHz wave files as well as spit out 24bit/192KHz SPDIF data stream.
You do have to provide your own hard drive though.
Another Chinese website is also bringing out a similar product. This one is based on the ADI Blackfin processor running at 600MHz. It hence has the extra horsepower to do upsampling in software! A bit more higher end yet the release date is still unknown. The price is about the same. Both machines can do firmware/software upgrade through internet:

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
analog_sa said:It's a pity it seems to work with IDE drives. These days i only use 1TB SATAs and have no idea if large IDE drives are still in manufacture. Any chance for SATA support?
It does look interesting!
analog_sa
how about using an IDE to SATA adapter?
But then
It may be more an issue of HDD size, and what the firmware can access?

when it arrived please took some picture
how much you pay for it?
thanks
They also offer this nice CDpro2 chassis and controller for about 500$.. CDpro2 module not included in the price..

Very nice, might give that a try.

Not very for sure now yet there's no reason to believe that its I2S can not do 192/24.

Default is 2.5" IDE. You can easily convert it to 3.5" SATA driver with a small $5 conversion card or you can wait for their expansion card which will be released later this year.
The player by cndiyclub.com has default support for SATA.
