Although being a fairly new person to diyaudio, I must also congratulate Halo on his nevertheless thoughtful entries. I enjoy reading his posts as they lighten dusty or dark topics and keep one's attention at pace.
I also must agree with Halo himself in that many posts of diyaudio are of a competitive nature and become somewhat useless in directive toward their originally propagated intent.
I admit that I have been regrettably redundant and competitive in some of my posts. I realise that it seems a facet of human nature to be this way; however, couldn't more people here try to get along and communicate in greater extent about "diyaudio" as a concept of philosophy or technicality instead of one of competition of knowledge or expertise?
I think Halo understands a very important aspect of such a powerful community. Many people are able to do amazing things, also they are able to depreciate the useful matter of posts or even whole threads.

I use 'best' because I really respect him.

No hidden agenda, no backtalking behind my shoulder.
No, straight on it was. And with open and plain arguments.
I did never agree with him.
But I never fell into trap of abusing or bullying him.
I am too old for that, I hope.
I respect and I surely miss - 'mrfeedback',
my most highly regarded antagonist.
He sure is different from many of my other enemies.
They did not say openly what they thought of me.
Some even were disguised, as being my friends.
Now when halojoy is hit to the floor, some express their feelings open.
But they almost never can say WHY they are glad I suffer being banned from diyaudio.
They have as hard to find a good reason, as the moderators have
to present adequate facts backing up their accusations.
They say the case is I am using copyrighted stuff.
But notice one thing:
They never even one time can tell who's Intellectual Property.
And I have seen Jean-Paul, now a mod, truthfully say
he has never seen any such material.
And it would be very hard to find anyone complaining
about me using their material,
as I have NOT HAD ANYONE CONTACT from such rightful owners.
I have used other persons stuff on my webpages, yes.
Who has not?
But I try to use it in a way that it PROMOTES THE SOURCE
with a link well visably. Sometimes I even copy in the sourcename
and link to source into schematics pictures.
And you should remember, I NEVER SELL or do anything for MONEY.
And I never will.
I do this is a favour to all DIYers out there.

I say it again: diyaudio.com has passed its peak.
There will be new audio communities with better qualities

They go for good rich soil and fresh water,

Posted year 2002 and since then we never could get in contact with halo, I mean real communication.
till, can't you respect halo's wishes? He doesn't want to be a member. Open a communication channel to him see out for yourself and you know this is impossible.

And i perceive he left so strong image, that i feel good related to this confusion.
The confusion is to think i can be this man, i met him, and i am tired, just because he is 20 times more clever than i can be.
This way, my friends, i believe he is with us, but he is a lot of people in our forum, sometimes i feel he is inside Kwak, sometimes he is inside till, sometimes his spirit took my brain and i write his way.... do you know something, he got the power!
Because, we are finding hallo everywhere... we loose him, and i am making questions about him and no answer.

I am sure forum loose a very interesting guy, but i think also he is not flexible enought to return.
