cleaning 727 bearings
Ok lets try this again. For some reason my first reply attempt timed out. So I shorten this and type faster.
Buy the purist isopropyl alcohol you can find. Remove the arm from the base. Flush the bearings with a few drops at a time at the same time CAREFULLY moving the arm through its limits of travel. Do this for about half and hour and you may even "feel" reduced friction. When dry and done DO NOT lube. They'll be fine as is.
Also clean the connectors with isopropyl on q-tips.
Remount, set tracking and antiskating force and you're ready to go. Cheers.
